Complete a Mass Termination

To get started, you'll need to add a non-standard menu item to your Avanti desktop application. To do so, follow these steps:

4. From here, you will see an editable version of your application’s menu setup. Select the program that you would like your new program to be next to. For this example, we’ll be inserting Mass Termination beside the Mass Rehire program:

5. Click Insert to open a new menu item setup:

6. From here, fill out the following mandatory fields:

1. Description (A quick title for what the program is. The French description is optional)
2. Program (the actual program name for the menu item. In this case, Mass Termination is    #Py.EmpTerm)
3. System (this field can be defaulted to state “py”, but can be other items based on where the menu item is being placed)
4. Select the user groups at the bottom to determine who can use this tool (note: * means that all user groups can access a tool)

7. Click OK
8. Then click OK on the full menu window and this will save your changes
9. Once this is complete, the menu item should appear in the menu folder structure where you created it
