Based on the findings from discovery, our experience, and industry best practices, we set up a production environment designed to meet your specific needs.

Scenario Testing

To ensure the unique complexities of your product are functioning the way you need them to, we’ll conduct several tests to validate our configuration using a testing environment. We test day-in-the-life situations that are unique to your organization and ensure the desired results are met.

Parallel Testing

In this testing phase your Avanti team will work together with you to ensure your results from previous pay runs are the same as what you’ve got when processing pay through Avanti. This ensures your employees are being paid the correct amount and calculations are correct before sending your files to the bank.

Training

This is a crucial step in any implementation. Training and knowledge transfer are critical to your organization’s long-term success and satisfaction with Avanti. At this stage, we’ll walk you through curated learning streams for your admin users and data managers. For the most part, Avanti training is self-paced, but our team is only a call away to help answer questions. We’ll never leave you hanging.

Go Live

The time has come! An uneventful Go-Live is exactly what we’re aiming for. When the project team is completely satisfied with our testing, your comfort level with Avanti, and your organization's overall readiness, will we formally Go-Live. Our team will guide and support you through three full pay cycles before transitioning you to our amazing Client Care team.

Ongoing Client Care:

Once you’ve gone live, you’re in good hands with the Avanti Client Care team. Any questions, issues, or feedback will be addressed in a timely manner. We’re always here to help.

How long does it typically take to implement all modules with Avanti?

Implementation timelines vary depending on multiple factors. We usually see clients successfully implement all modules in about 6 months. Things like build complexity and resource allocation can affect that timeline.

What are the license types in Avanti? How many of each do I have?

There are three types of licenses in Avanti:

  • Class A: Your Avanti ‘superusers,’ or anyone who has access to the desktop application and web.
  • Class B: Your managers who have access to time data on the web.
  • Class C: Your everyday employees who access the web to view personal information and request time off.

How do I access the desktop application?

Your Avanti team will need to give you access first, but don’t worry, this will be done at the beginning of implementation. If you already went through this with your team and forgot a step, please follow these instructions.

We will have the same project team throughout implementation?

Yes, we try to keep the project team the same from start to finish. There may be instances in which that’s not possible due to unforeseen circumstances, but we try our best to provide consistency.

What are workbooks and how many do I need to fill out during this project?

Workbooks are information-gathering documents our team use to configure your Avanti solution. We ask for information like pay groups, entitlements, and positions in these workbooks, so your unique Avanti build meets your needs as an organization. There are three Payroll workbooks, one Time and Attendance workbook, and one Human Resources and Recruiting and Onboarding workbook.

What is SFTP and why does Avanti use it?

SFTP stands for Secure File Transfer Protocol. It’s a secure way for both Avanti and your team to send files back and forth. Due to the nature of these implementations, we’re usually sending confidential data between our teams and it’s important we provide an additional layer of secure to ensure your information is safe.

Can my logo be added to my organization's Avanti Self-Service Portal and Career Connector site?

Absolutely! Once your project team is assigned, they will ask for your company logo (guidelines will be sent for size and format) and your preferred URL for both sites.
